Notice of Registration and Election To All Filipino Citizens

Notice is hereby given that under Republic Act No. 9189, otherwise known as “The Overseas Absentee Voting Act of 2003”, as amended by Republic Act No. 10590, all citizens of the Philippines abroad, who are not otherwise disqualified by law, at least eighteen (18) years of age on the day of the elections, and who are registered overseas voters, may vote for President, Vice-President, Senators and Party-List Representatives.
All qualified Filipino citizens not registered as voters under Republic Act No. 8189, otherwise known as “The Voters Registration Act of 1996”, (the system of continuing registration) shall file an application for registration while those who are already registered under the said Act shall file an application for certification.
For purposes of the 09 May 2016 elections, the filing of applications for registration or certification shall be from 06 May 2014 to 31 October 2015.
Requests for transfer of registration records may also be filed during the registration period.
The 30-day voting period for the 2016 National Elections for registered Filipino overseas voters in Cambodia will commence on 09 April 2016 until 2:00 p.m. of 09 May 2016 at the Philippine Embassy in Phnom Penh.
For purposes of registration, please bring your original and one (1) photocopy of your valid passport.

Application form for Registration or Certification
To be filled out by applicant who wishes to transfer their voting records from their current Post to either another Post or back to the Philippines.
To be filled up by the certified COMELEC/Embassy personnel and issued to applicant if biometrics is not captured due to failure of Voter Registration Machine.
To be filled up by an applicant who wishes to be reinstated in the list of registered overseas voters.
To be filled up by applicant who wishes to correct their names in their voting records or to change their name to their new married name. Applicants need to bring documentary proof (e.g. marriage contract, birth certificate, passport etc.).
To be filled up if applicant decides not to pursue their registration/certification to vote in Cambodia.
This form is for applicants who wish to have their voting registration records reactivated. Applicants need to present either their Certificate of Identity (for reacquisition of citizenship) or Court Order stating that the grounds for deactivation have been lifted.
This form is filled out by the applicant if he/she wants to revise their current address in their registration records within the same Post (Cambodia)
