The Philippine Embassy in Cambodia is pleased to announce that the Philippine Department of Science and Technology (DOST) is offering additional full scholarship grants to Cambodians to pursue graduate studies in science and engineering in the Philippines. Initially offered in 2017 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Philippines-Cambodia diplomatic relations, these scholarship grants have been extended to researchers from Lao PDR and Myanmar, as part of the Philippines’ contributions to the ASEAN Science and Technology Innovation Partnership Initiative, particularly on the ASEAN-help-ASEAN scheme. This capacity-building program has been established to promote human resource development in engineering and sciences for sustainable socio-economic development of the ASEAN region. Currently, there are eleven (11) scholars from Cambodia who are enrolled in the University of the Philippines and in De La Salle University under this program of the Philippine Government.

The scholarship award covers tuition fees, monthly stipend, book allowance, transportation and group accident insurance, thesis and dissertation grants, and a round trip airfare, in accordance with Philippine government regulations.
