In line with the announcement of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte during his State Visit to Cambodia in December last year, the Philippine Government is offering (10) full scholarships to Cambodian candidates to pursue graduate studies in science and engineering (five [5] Masters Degree and five [5] Doctoral Degrees) in the Philippines.
The scholarship award covers tuition fees, monthly stipend, book allowance, transportation and group insurance, health insurance, thesis and dissertation grants, and a round trip air fare, in accordance with Philippine government regulations.

The University of the Philippines in Diliman and the De La Salle University are offering intensive English Language Courses to help students/scholars who are accepted under a probationary status in these universities to help them pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), which is a requirement before obtaining the status of a regular student. These intensive English Language Courses are included in the scholarship grant. Applicants to other accredited universities must meet the minimum requirement of TOEFL.
This human resource capacity building program is being implemented through the Department of Science and Technology of the Philippines (DOST), in partnership with the Philippine Embassy, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Philippines-Cambodia diplomatic relations this year.
