Launching of Online Visa Application System (OVAS)

Effective, Monday, 24 January 2022, all 9(a) visa applications filed in Cambodia will have to be lodged using the Online Visa Application System (OVAS).

• Requirements for 9(a) visas for qualified foreign nationals may be found here

The following foreign nationals are allowed to apply for 9(a) visas in accordance with existing Philippine immigration guidelines:

• Those entering the Philippines for business purposes, duly endorsed by the relevant national government agency and who have an Entry Exemption Document (EED) from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA);

• Spouses/parents/minor children of Filipino nationals currently residing in the Philippines; and

• Those who have been granted exemption on humanitarian grounds, and who have an Entry Exemption Document (EED) from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

Note: Diplomats and accredited officials of a foreign government recognized by the Philippines proceeding to the Philippines on official business applying for 9(e) visas must schedule an appointment separately with the Embassy.
