Philippine Ambassador pays Courtesy Call on Prime Minister Hun Sen
22 February 2021, Phnom Penh – Philippine Ambassador Maria Amelita C. Aquino paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Hun Sen on 17 February 2021 where they discussed the progress in Philippines-Cambodia bilateral relations, including closer economic cooperation and the implementation of signed agreements in the fields of tourism, labor, and law enforcement cooperation, among other areas. Ambassador Aquino affirmed her commitment to further expand the relations as the two countries look forward to the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2022.
Prime Minister Hun Sen welcomed the appointment of the Ambassador and wished her success in her mission in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
