Philippine Ambassador Christopher B. Montero made an introductory call on H.E.Tea Banh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, at the Ministry of National Defense Building in Phnom Penh on 03 August 2015.

During their meeting, Ambassador Montero conveyed the Philippines' commitment cultivate and enhance PH-Cambodia relations in the area of national defense, particularly on humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, peacekeeping operations and mine-clearing operations. He also cited the modest support extended by the Philippines to Cambodia through capacity building programs that have benefitted officers of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF). 

H.E. Tea Bahn noted the friendly relations between the Philippines and Cambodia and expressed his commitment to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in the area of defense. END.
