03 January 2025, Manila - Philippine Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia H.E. Flerida Ann Camille P. Mayo conveyed the Philippine Embassy’s profound thanks to Philippine Airlines President and Chief Operating Officer Captain Stanley K. Ng for the flag carrier’s invaluable contribution to the safe repatriation of the 13 Filipino surrogates and their three babies on 29 December 2024.
“PAL’s decisive support ensured that no one was left behind, notwithstanding the very narrow window of opportunity to accomplish the mission. PAL remains our invaluable partner in economic diplomacy and in promoting the welfare of Filipinos overseas, ” Ambassador Mayo said.
Seven other Filipino women were also safely sent home on 23 October 2024 with the assistance of the PAL office in Phnom Penh. END
