16 December 2024 - The Philippine Embassy in Phnom Penh, together with Galyon Gallery X Cafe, Unilab, and PhilCham Cambodia, participated in the 2024 Cambodia Trade Exposition (CTE) held at the PH Grand Hall Center in Borey Peng Huoth, Phnom Penh, on 13-16 December 2024.
Drawing from the CTE theme “Trade Renaissance: A New Era of Trade,” the Philippine booth showcased contemporary Filipino designs at its finest, including the creative merchandise of PJ Almera, Up To You Anthology, Ha.Mu, Katari, Liwayway, Millie Monday, Kelvin Morales, and world-renowned Filipino industrial designer Kenneth Cobonpue.
United Pharma Cambodia, a long-standing partner of the Philippine Embassy, also displayed its flagship PH care products, which the Cambodian market has widely patronized since the company was established in the Kingdom in 2009.
Exhibit viewers appreciated the story behind Filipino products at the Philippine booth, which was curated by multi-awarded budding interdisciplinary Filipino designer Architect PJ Almera and managed by PhilCham Cambodia.

“The well-thought-out presentation of products at the Philippine booth provides inspiration to other foreign missions who also wish to participate in the future iterations of the CTE, with each item in the collection carrying a unique symbolism,” First Secretary Richhpal Singh of the Indian Embassy in Cambodia quipped.
Formerly known as the Cambodia & Import-Export Goods Exhibition (CIEGE), the CTE is an annual exhibition held by the Cambodian government to strengthen confidence in the competitiveness of Cambodian products and the Cambodian market. This year, the CTE displayed 246 booths, drawing an estimated 50,000 visitors, according to the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce. END
