Phnom Penh, 25 July 2024 – In line with the Philippine Embassy’s continuing economic diplomacy initiatives, Ambassador Flerida Ann Camille P. Mayo and Third Secretary and Vice Consul Genina Marion T. Rafal paid a visit to the factory and corporate office of Liwayway (Cambodia) Food Industries Co., Ltd. located at the Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone on 24 July 2024.

Ambassador Mayo took the occasion to share with the executives of Liwayway Cambodia, Mr. Oszen Chan (President of Liwayway Marketing Corporation), Mr. Robert T. Li (Regional Head of Overseas Operations), and Mr. Rendon Dy Chan (Operations Manager of Liwayway Cambodia) the purpose of the Embassy’s outreach and the Philippines’ economic diplomacy in Cambodia.

Mr. Chan briefed the Ambassador on Liwayway’s history and success in the Cambodian market.  They exchanged perspectives on doing business in the country and in the ASEAN region.  “We are elated that Liwayway continues to enjoy success and popularity in the Cambodian market.  The Philippine Embassy stands ready to support Philippine companies doing business in Cambodia,” Ambassador Mayo said.
