Philippine Ambassador to Cambodia, H.E. Maria Amelita C. Aquino, addressed a crowd of students, participants, and exhibitors of the Philippine Fair, which is organized by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (PhilCham). Ambassador Aquino highlighted the growing economic and commercial ties between the Philippines and Cambodia, and stressed the importance of holding such fairs to showcase and introduce some Philippine products and services to the Cambodian market and promote linkages between the public and private sectors.

To culminate the Philippine Fair, a “Maharlika Night” was also organized by PhilCham to promote cultural exchanges between the Philippines and Cambodia. There was a fashion show featuring Cambodian models as well as Filipino and Cambodian designers.
