LIFTING OF LOCKDOWN MEASURES IN PHNOM PENH AND TA KHMAO CITY

(as of 5 May 2021)

The Philippine Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia informs all Filipinos in Cambodia that the Royal Government of Cambodia has decided to:

• lift the lockdown in Phnom Penh and Ta Khmao City of Kandal Province effective 6 May 2021;

• the three zones (Red, Orange and Yellow) will continue to be implemented to help lower the number of cases according to news reports. Please check the advisory on zonal restrictions at https://www.facebook.com/PHLinCambodia/photos/pcb.1673934476134700/1673933509468130 ;

• Inter-provincial travel has been lifted on 25 April 2021; however, the local authorities in Phnom Penh have yet to issue a decision on whether individuals from the provinces will be allowed to enter Phnom Penh; and

• A curfew on non-essential travel will still be implemented from 8:00 PM to 3:00 AM.
