Notes:
- 1.We ask those intending to book a flight to confirm with the airline on the transit restrictions of the Republic of Korea before purchasing tickets (e.g. passengers are not allowed to pass through immigration or leave the airport terminal, while waiting for their connecting flight and layover must not exceed 24 hours).
- 2.During transit in Singapore, all passengers are to remain in the Transit Holding Area (THA) until they are being escorted to the boarding gate of their connecting flight. As the transit duration in Singapore is long (ranging from 11 hours to almost 37 hours), passengers may approach the SilkAir reservations team in Phnom Penh via This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to assist with transit hotel (Aerotel) bookings at special onsite rates applicable to Singapore Airlines Group (SIA) passengers only. Rates range from 179.00 Singapore dollars (around 131 USD) to 350 Singaporean dollars (around 256 USD) and are inclusive of meals.
Passengers do not have to clear immigration to access transit hotel. At THA, passengers with transit hotel bookings are to inform airport staff, who will escort them to transit hotel. Passengers are not allowed to leave their hotel rooms throughout their intended stay and wearing of masks is compulsory. At the end of the hotel stay, passengers will be escorted back to the THA before being escorted again to the boarding gate of their connecting flight.
This is a public service advisory for the information of interested parties. It is not meant to be an endorsement of any of the above-mentioned airlines. The Embassy will update the list when new information is brought to our attention.
