Effective Monday, 16 March 2020, all consular transactions will require an online appointment to help stem the spread of the novel coronavirus and to protect the public availing themselves of consular services.
The World Health Organization had recently made the assessment that COVID-19 can be characterized as a pandemic. In this regard, in the interest of public health and safety, the Embassy will strictly observe a “NO APPOINTMENT, NO TRANSACTION” policy. Walk-in clients, except for senior citizens, pregnant women, persons with disability (PWD), and carrying infants, will not be allowed entry if they have no prior appointment schedules.
This applies to all consular services (civil registry, legalization of documents [acknowledgment for SPAs, Jurats for Affidavits, Certifications, etc.], visas, overseas voters’ registration, passports and travel documents.
Applicants are advised to schedule an online appointment at least three (3) days prior to the date they intend to visit the Embassy to allow consular staff to assess documents to be submitted and inform the applicant should there be lacking documents or if there are documents that need to be revised.
Visa applications will be entertained from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Visa applicants who came from or transited in mainland China, Macau, Hongkong, Republic of Korea’s North Gyeongsang province, Daegu, and Cheoungdo are advised to schedule an appointment 14 days after arrival in Cambodia.
Clients exhibiting flu-like symptoms (i.e., fever, dry cough) are advised to postpone their appointments. Body temperatures shall be taken by a non-contact thermometer before entry. Clients are encouraged to use the hand sanitizers located at the guardhouse.
