KATUTUBONG PILIPINO?
In celebration of National Heritage Month, Sentro Rizal Phnom Penh and Katutubo Exchange Philippines are inviting the Filipino community in Cambodia to participate in “TAOID: A Seminar-Workshop on Philippine Indigenous Culture.” The event will be held on 18 May 2019, from 9:00 am to 12 noon, at the Multi-purpose Hall of the Philippine Embassy. This seminar-workshop is free of charge.
To be conducted by Dr. Edwin Antonio, Founder and President of the Katutubo Exchange Philippines, the seminar-workshop aims to widen the knowledge and appreciation of Philippine indigenous peoples and culture and includes lessons on writing and reading our ancient script, Baybayin, learning some indigenous words, demonstrations of indigenous games, and even wearing of several indigenous attires.
It will be a fun and educational morning of discovery and re-discovery.
