“PARALLEL LIVES: A PHOTO EXHIBIT”
IN SIEM REAP
The Philippine Embassy is bringing the "Parallel Lives: A Photo Exhibit" to Siem Reap on 17-18 November 2018.
The exhibit features the winning entries of the Parallel Lives Photo Competition organized by the Philippine Embassy last year, with the support of the National Commission for Culture and Arts of the Philippines (NCCA) and the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts (MCFA) of the Kingdom of Cambodia, in commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of Philippines-Cambodia diplomatic relations.
The Exhibit showcases the lives of ordinary Cambodians and Filipinos from different walks of life, at its different stages. On display are winning snapshots taken by Allan Castaňeda, Allan Jay Quesada, Vic Salas, Regis Binard, Spencer Wakat, Rolando Herasta, and Alfredo Salvador.
The Embassy cordially invites the public to visit the exhibit on 17-18 November at Ozentik Conference Room, Memoire d'Angkor Boutique Hotel, N°54, Sivatha Street, Siem Reap. The exhibit will open at 3:00 pm on Saturday, 17 November, during which light refreshments will be served. It will be on public display until 12:00 noon of Sunday, 18 November.
Members of the Filipino community in Siem Reap and nearby provinces are encouraged to come and bring their Cambodian (and expat) friends to the exhibit in order to enhance mutual understanding of each other’s traditions and practices.
