INVITATION TO THE ASEAN+3 FESTIVAL

The Philippine Embassy invites the Filipino Community in Cambodia to visit the ASEAN+ 3 Festival on 1 April 2018 (Easter Sunday), from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, at the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP), and support the Philippine country exhibition and Filipino food booths.

Several Filipino restaurants/caterers will sell some of our much-loved kakanin (puto, biko, kutsinta, halayang ube, bilo bilo, leche flan), and other Filipino food and drinks. Philippine companies such as Filmart, Liwayway (Cambodia) Rinbee, and Unilab Pharma will be represented at the country booth.

The ASEAN+3 Festival will feature traditional games, documentary shows, cultural performances, and demonstration of traditional instruments, not only of the Philippines, but also that of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea.

Filipinos in Phnom Penh may wish to take advantage of this event to introduce their Cambodian and foreign friends to Filipino culture and cuisine.

The ASEAN +3 Festival is open to the public. Entrance to RUPP’s Institute of Foreign Languages (IFL) campus is free.
