The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Phnom Penh wishes to inform the Filipino Community in Cambodia, particularly those who passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), of the launch of an OFW reintegration convergence program called "Sa Pinas, Ikaw ang Maám/Sir" or SPIMS.
SPIMS is a program for OFW LET passers to return to the Philippines, find employment, and practice their profession as teachers. It provides an online refresher course, through the Philippine Normal University, to qualified SPIMS beneficiaries to retrain their teaching and pedagogic skills necessary with the demands of the present day educational practice for the Teacher 1 positions consistent with the K-12 curriculum of the Department of Education. It is designed and conducted by the National Reintegration Center for OFWs (NRCO) of the Department of Labor and Employment, the Department of Education (DepEd), Commission on Higher Education, and other government agencies.
