The Filipino community in Cambodia is cordially invited to watch the "Master Pieces: Celebrating the Tapestry of Filipino Culture and Friendship" - a dance performance featuring the Ballet Philippines to be held at 6:30 pm on Saturday, 26 August 2017, at Chaktomuk Conference Hall.
This event is being organized by the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts of Cambodia and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts of the Philippines, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Cambodia, as part of commemorative activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Philippines-Cambodia diplomatic relations.
Ballet Philippines (BP) is the preeminent professional classical and contemporary dance company in the Philippines. It is widely recognized today as a cornerstone of contemporary Filipino identity. Master Pieces is a mixed bill showcasing a collection of some of BP's most acclaimed works -- classical ballet, neo-classical works, modern and contemporary dances, as well as excerpts from full-length modern ballets.
This event is free of charge. There are 300 seats reserved for Filipinos and their Cambodian/international friends.
