Filipinos are invited to attend a round table discussion on women's health on 19 December, Saturday, at 4:00pm at the Embassy of the Philippines.
As part of its gender and development program, the Embassy has invited Dr. Vic Salas and Dr. Anna Roslyakova, two medical experts to talk about issues related to reproductive health (concerns throughout the life cycle), early detection of breast cancer, cervical cancer, and awareness of sexually-transmitted diseases. Filipinos working in Cambodia are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to learn about these topics that greatly affect their health.
Merienda cena will be served after the event.
But wait, there's more...
Immediately preceding this round table discussion, at 3:00 pm, the Sentro Rizal of Phnom Penh (SRPP) has invited Mrs Florencia Torres-Abraham for a cooking demonstration of Christmas hamon, tocino, and longganisa-- all without preservatives. Do come and learn to make these much-loved Filipino dishes. You can give them as Christmas presents, or serve them in your next family gathering.
Do come and learn something new this month at SRPP! Come to one or both of these activities on 19 December.
