The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Phnom Penh is currently accepting applications for two (2) vacant positions:
1. Senior Translator, Interpreter and Assistant
2. Junior Translator, Interpreter and Assistant
OPEN TO:
Native Khmer speakers with English language proficiency, relevant background and experience
MONTHLY SALARY:
USD 400 to USD 700, depending on credentials and assessed competence.
WORKING HOURS:
Full-time (40 hours per week)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provide professional translation services in the Khmer language to English language and vice versa;
- Provide simultaneous or consecutive/dialogue interpretation services from Khmer to English and vice versa;
- Provide staff support to the the Consular and Administrative Sections of the Embassy; and
- Perform such other tasks that may be required by the Embassy
