Calidad Humana is a deep and intuitive "concern for others" that comes naturally to the Filipino. We want to preserve this Kabutihang Loob sa Kapwa.

The majority of Filipinos are known for a host of positive and constructive qualities: their humility, simplicity, friendliness, and hospitality; the priority they give to concern to others with solidarity and fraternity over material things; their love for life; their resiliency in the face of challenges of life and the vicissitudes of nature; their profound sense of faith and spirituality; and their permanent and genuine smiles.

This movement aims to strengthen these Filipino qualities, avoiding their loss and dilution as it has happened in other places; and at the same time, strive to spread these natural gifts to their friends in other parts of the world.

The Movement, which was spearhead by the Energy Development Corporation, First Philippine Holdings, Lopez Group Foundation, Inc. and the University of Asia and the Pacific, aims to preserve and strengthen a host of positive and constructive qualities such as humility, simplicity, friendliness, hospitality and many others, which Filipinos are known for.
