EXTENSION OF ADMINISTRATIVE MEASURES IN PHNOM PENH 

(as of 28 October 2021)

 

            All Filipinos in Cambodia are informed that on October 28, the Phnom Penh Municipal Administration issued a decision extending the implementation of administrative measures for combating and preventing the spread of Covid-19 from 29 October 2021 to 11 November 2021:

  • During the implementation of administrative measures, job and occupational activities that pose a high risk of COVID-19 transmission, such as KTV, club and discotheque are temporarily suspended.
  • Private gathering of more than 50 people is temporarily banned, except:
  • Family and relative gathering for religious or traditional ceremonies, as determined by the competent authorities;
  • Gathering of public institutions, people or health workers for the implementation of health measures, swab collection, or vaccination;
  • Gathering of health workers for other emergency tasks;
  • Gathering of authorities or security personnel for maintaining security and public order;
  • Gathering of people during court or judicial police procedures; and
  • Gathering of people necessary for public benefits and other purposes, as determined by the competent authorities.
  • Managerial board or owners of job and business activities that are not suspended as mentioned above must assign an employee to be on standby at the entrance to inspect vaccination cards. Failure to comply will result in license or permit revocation or complete shutdown of the establishment.
