UPDATED ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AND QUARANTINE MEASURES FOR ARRIVING FOREIGN NATIONALS IN CAMBODIA (AS OF 18 AUGUST 2021)
The Embassy of the Philippines in Phnom Penh informs all Filipinos in Cambodia of the updated entry requirements and quarantine measures for regular foreign nationals who arrive in Cambodia:
- Health Certification (in English or in French), indicating a negative COVID-19 status (through an RT-PCR swab test) within 72 hours prior to the date of departure. This certificate, and the RT-PCR swab test result, must be issued by a competent and licensed health authority of their residing country.
- A valid Cambodian visa issued by Royal Cambodian Embassies or Consulates at the passengers’ home country.
- A deposit of USD 2,000 upon arrival in Cambodia, which will be used to cover accommodation costs during the 14-day quarantine period, COVID-19 medical examination fees, and local transportation costs from the international airport to the reserved hotel.
- Arriving foreign nationals may also choose to book at any of the four Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) Hotels prior to arriving in Cambodia. Those who select this option will not be required to deposit the USD2,000.00 but will have to pay the accommodation and other costs directly with their chosen hotel:

- Foreign nationals who have not booked at one of the ASQ hotels will be sent to a hotel designated by the Ministry of Health (MOH). MOH will return the remaining balance after payment of actual expenses to the individual in three (3) days after completing the implementation of health measures.
- Travellers will have to provide proof of health insurance with a minimum medical coverage of USD50,000 valid for the entire duration of stay in Cambodia. Travellers may also wish to purchase said insurance from FORTE Insurance Company, for USD90.00 and available online at:

- Travellers are to allow the MOH to collect samples, in case of suspicion, during quarantine, and on the 13th day to confirm the completion of quarantine; and,
- Complete the quarantine for 14 days.
