LOCKDOWN ON EIGHT (8) PROVINCES IN CAMBODIA

          All Filipinos in Cambodia are informed that the Cambodian government issued Decision no. 82 imposing a lockdown on eight (8) provinces: Koh Kong, Pursat, Battambang, Pailin, Banteay Meanchey, Oddar Meanchey, Preah Vihear and Siem Reap effective 2359H of 29 July 2021 until 12 August 2021 to combat and prevent the spread of the COVID-19 Delta variant.

          The lockdown areas shall be classified into “red zones”, “dark yellow/orange zones” and “yellow zones” depending on the level of the spread of the COVID-19 Delta variant. The zonal classification shall be determined by the provincial governors who shall also have the authority to take appropriate measures such as bans or restrictions on travel, meetings, gatherings, work, businesses, and/ or imposing curfews in order to prevent the spread of the virus.

          Activities relating to the civil aviation sector in lockdown areas are allowed to operate as usual.
