HEALTH MEASURES IN PHNOM PENH

(as of 19 June 2021)

 

All Filipinos in Cambodia are informed that the Phnom Penh Municipal Administration decided to temporarily suspend certain business activities and ban gatherings in Phnom Penh from 20 June 2021 until 3 July 2021:

  • Jobs and business activities that pose high risk of transmission, such as schools, resorts, museums, amusement parks, massage parlors, cinemas, theaters, gyms, sport centers, and entertainment businesses including KTV, clubs, discotheques, beer gardens, and casinos shall continue to be closed.
  • During the implementation of administrative measures, private gathering of more than 15 people is temporarily suspended except in the following cases:
  • Gathering among family members and relatives living in the same house for traditional or religious purpose;
  • Holding funerals as determined by the competent authorities and after the deceased body is tested negative of COVID-19;
  • Gathering of public institutions or health personnel in order to implement health measures or collect sample for testing or inoculate COVID-19 vaccines;
  • Gathering of health personnel for other emergency purposes;
  • Gathering of competent authorities in completing a mission in maintaining security and public order;
  • Gathering of people during the proceedings of judicial police and court;
  • Gathering of people which are necessary for serving public interest and other purposes; and
  • Gathering of people for jobs and businesses, which were not banned above.
