TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF TRAVEL TO THE PHILIPPINES
(as of 30 March 2021)
The public is informed that, in accordance to the Inter-agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) Resolution No. 105, series of 2021 dated 25 March 2021, in relation to IATF-MEID Resolution No. 103, series of 2021 dated 18 March 2021, the following guidelines are implemented:
- All Filipino citizens shall be allowed to return to the Philippines.
- Effective 22 March 2021, 0001H, until 21 April 2021, 2359H, the entry of foreign nationals shall be temporarily suspended, except the following:
- Diplomats and members of international organizations, and their dependents provided that they hold valid 9(e) or 47(a)(2) visas, as the case may be, at the time of entry;
- Foreign nationals involved in medical repatriation and their escort/s duly endorsed by the Department of Foreign Affairs - UMWA and the Overseas Filipino Workers Administration (OWWA) provided that they have valid visas at the time of entry;
- Foreign seafarers arriving through seaports under the “Green Lanes” program for crew change provided that they hold 9(c) crew list visas at the time of entry;
- Foreign parent/s, spouses and children of Filipino citizens travelling with them, provided that they have valid visas at the time of entry; and
- Emergency, humanitarian, and other analogous cases approved by the NTF COVID-19 or his duly authorized representative, provided that they have valid visas at the time of entry.

The foregoing is without prejudice to immigration laws, rules and regulations such that the Commissioner of Immigration shall have the exclusive prerogative to decide on waiver or recall of exclusion orders for all foreign nationals authorized entry under relevant IATF resolutions.
During the period of 0001H, March 22, to 2359H, April 21, the travel of Filipino citizens and exempted foreign nationals shall still be subject to the arrival quota set by the Department of Transportation (DOTr).
