           With the implementation of the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) in the National Capital Region (NCR) in the Philippines beginning 4 August 2020 resulting to logistical limitations, the Philippine Embassy in Cambodia informs all Filipinos in Cambodia that there may be some delays in the production and delivery of passports in the Philippines and all Philippine Embassies and Consulates General until the MECQ period ends on 18 August 2020 and the logistics partners’ operations are stabilized.

            The Embassy urges Filipinos in Cambodia to renew their passports at least one year before its expiry to avoid inconvenience.

           

Effective 16 March 2020, all consular transactions will require an online appointment to help stem the spread of COVID-19 and to protect the public availing themselves of consular services. In this regard, the Embassy is strictly observing a “NO APPOINTMENT, NO TRANSACTION” policy. Except for passport claimants, senior citizens, pregnant women, persons with disability (PWD), and carrying infants, walk-in clients will not be allowed entry if they have no prior appointment schedules.
