The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Phnom Penh reminds the Filipino Community in Cambodia that Reports of Birth of Filipino infants/children born in Cambodia of Filipino parent(s) require a Birth Certificate or Birth Notification issued by the relevant Sangkat/Commune and four (4) original documents authenticated/legalized and translated in English by the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC).

The birth certificate/birth notification from the Sangkat should be filed and obtained within 30 days after the infant/child’s birth.
