In light of on-going political developments in the country, members of the Filipino community are strongly encouraged to:

Stay connected.  Inform your family and friends about your whereabouts so that they know where and how to contact you.  Make sure that you are registered with the Embassy so that the Embassy can contact you if there is a need. 

Be prudent. Avoid crowded places, especially areas where there may be demonstrations or disturbances.

Stay informed. Closely monitor local media and social media networks; Be aware of your surroundings at all times.

Be prepared.  Although no specific security threat is monitored at the moment, it is important to prepare for any emergency before they happen and to take necessary steps to safeguard yourself and your family.
