Philippine Department of Labor and Employment Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III has ordered the resumption of the processing and issuance of overseas employment certificate (OEC) for all directly hired overseas Filipino workers effective 16 May 2017.

            The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) and the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) are directed to requirements as set forth by the Revised POEA Rules and Regulations governing the Recruitment and Employment of Land-based Overseas Filipino Workers of 2016.
