The Philippine Embassy in Cambodia wishes to inform Filipinos in Cambodia that the Department of Foreign Affairs-Office of Consular Affairs is currently experiencing delays in the issuance of e-Passports. In light of this development, the following temporary and remedial measures are in place:
For Persons Who Need to Renew their Passports:
Filipinos in Cambodia whose passports are about to expire or have expired may go to the Philippine Embassy in Phnom Penh and have their passports’ validity extended/revalidated for a period of not less than one (1) year, but not more than two (2) years. Extension/revalidation is free of charge. When applying for revalidation/extension, the applicant must also apply for a new passport.
For Persons with Pending Applications for Passport Renewal:
For those who applied for new passports from May 2015 up to the present and/or are in urgent need of a valid passport for travel or visa purposes, they may go to the Philippine Embassy in Phnom Penh for the revalidation or extension of their passports at no additional cost.
For inquiries, applicants may contact the Embassy’s Consular Section at Tel no. +855-23-222-303 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
