26 March 2025 - Philippine Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Flerida Ann Camille P. Mayo received on 20 March 2025 the officials of the Cambodia University of Technology and Science (Camtech University) to the conglomerate Overseas Cambodian Investment Corporation (OCIC) at the Chancery.
Camtech, which is Cambodia’s leading privately-owned STEM-focused University, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with PH’s World Citi Colleges - Aeronautical and Technological College (WCC-ATC) in February 2025, following their meeting at the exploratory business mission organized by the Embassy for Women’s Business Council Philippines.
Recognizing PH’s rich history of educational excellence, University President Dr. Sothy Khieng affirmed Camtech’s intent to build a more collaborative relationship with the Embassy for stronger PH-KH education cooperation.
Ambassador Mayo expressed optimism for more university tie-ups with Cambodian private institutions once the Philippines and Cambodia have finalized a government-to-government Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on higher education.
Founded in 2021 by Lok Neak Oknha Dr. Pung Kheav Se, Camtech was initially established to respond to Cambodia’s growing technical skills needs.
