Twenty eight (28) representatives from eight (8) government agencies, namely the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW, through Migrant Workers Office-Singapore), the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (DMW-OWWA, through their Welfare Office in Singapore), the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth), the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), the Land Transportation Office (LTO), the Bureau of Immigration, the Pag-IBIG Fund (through their offices in Singapore, and Mandaluyong in the Philippines), and the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).  PRC Chairperson Charito A. Zamora graced the event as this is the first time in the 13-year history of the MASM that the agency is joining. Their participation in this MASM is especially helpful since many professionals, particularly teachers, are working in Cambodia.

In her opening remarks, Ambassador Maria Amelita Aquino emphasized that the Embassy is committed to work with other Philippine government agencies in order to regularly bring more government services closer to Filipinos in Cambodia.

With a turnout of more than 700 Filipinos, clients expressed their gratitude for the conduct of this MASM and expressed hope that the Embassy schedules more in the future. Some underscored how this program of the Embassy is a huge help to Filipinos in Cambodia.

The Embassy regularly conducts the MASM in Cambodia, except during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, for the convenience of Overseas Filipinos. The MASM enables them to transact their businesses in one location instead of doing them in the Philippines during their vacation. END
